Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Orgen Nutraceuticals Inc.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Ensure the accuracy of prescription information and enter client data into our databases.
- Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including maintaining inventory and managing prescription records.
- Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products, as well as compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
- Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and appointment booking.
- Organize and maintain inventory, and arrange for billing services.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
- English as the primary language of work.
This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and physical demands. The successful candidate will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
