Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Orgen Nutraceuticals Inc.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the accuracy of prescription information and enter client data into our databases.
- Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including maintaining inventory and managing prescription records.
- Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products, as well as compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
- Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and appointment booking.
- Organize and maintain inventory, and arrange for billing services.
This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work environment is fast-paced, with repetitive tasks and a focus on attention to detail.
Requirements:- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
- English as the primary language of work.
- Able to work accurately and efficiently.
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organized and able to multitask.
- A team player with flexibility and reliability.
