We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a tenure-track position in Psychology with a child development emphasis at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The successful candidate will be named the Lois M. Brockman Professor in Child Development.
About the PositionThis is a tenure-track position that requires a Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis on child development. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence or the promise of excellence in teaching, research, undergraduate and graduate supervision, as well as administrative and professional service. Specific experience with community-based research methods, EDI-oriented research methods, and/or Indigenous centered research and methods is an asset.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Psychology and related fields
- Conduct research in child development and related areas
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate students
- Participate in departmental and university service
- Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis on child development
- Excellent teaching and research skills
- Experience with community-based research methods, EDI-oriented research methods, and/or Indigenous centered research and methods is an asset
The University of Saskatchewan offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off. We also offer a competitive salary range of $99,945 to $140,253, depending on qualifications and experience.
