Child Development Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology with a focus on child development. This tenure-track position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our department's research and teaching initiatives.
About the PositionThis position is part of our department's commitment to excellence in research and teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong research agenda, a commitment to teaching and mentoring, and a willingness to contribute to departmental service.
Responsibilities- Conduct research in child development and contribute to the department's research initiatives
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, including courses related to child development
- Mentor students and supervise research projects
- Contribute to departmental service, including committee work and outreach activities
The successful candidate will have a PhD in psychology with a focus on child development, a strong research agenda, and a commitment to teaching and mentoring. Experience with community-based research methods, EDI-oriented research methods, and/or Indigenous centered research and methods is an asset.
