Dogs' Avenue Pet Grooming Supervisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pet Grooming Supervisor to join our team at Dogs' Avenue. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal care and wants to take their career to the next level.

About the Role:

  • As a Pet Grooming Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pet grooming department.
  • You will work closely with our team of groomers to ensure that all pets receive the highest standard of care and attention.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our grooming area.
  • In addition, you will assist in training new staff members and providing feedback to existing team members.
  • Your role will involve liaising with clients to discuss their pets' needs and preferences, as well as communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • You will also be required to maintain accurate records and reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: You must have a strong educational background, ideally in animal science or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a pet grooming or supervisory role is required.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma: You must have a valid certification or diploma in pet grooming or a related field.

Tasks:

  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Prepare and submit progress and other reports.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures.
