Job Title: Accounting Firm Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Firm Manager to join our team at Canadian Global Tax Inc.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Firm Manager will be responsible for leading our accounting team, providing financial and business advice to clients, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct a team of 3-4 people in the accounting department
  • Provide financial and business advice to clients, including tax planning and preparation
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of our accounting standards and procedures
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems
  • Organize conferences and meetings
  • Negotiate for services and preferential rates
  • Maintain financial records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years or more of experience in accounting and financial services
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
