We are seeking a skilled Mathematics Teacher Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in London. This part-time position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about teaching and have a strong background in mathematics.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students in grades 9-12, helping them improve their understanding of mathematical concepts and develop essential skills. As a teacher tutor, you will work closely with students, identifying areas where they need extra support and creating customized learning plans to meet their unique needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field (fourth year university students with tutoring experience will be considered)
  • Ability to dynamically teach math and/or science to students in grades 9-12 at both the applied and academic level
  • Experience teaching or tutoring high school students
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
  • Ability to guide students' understanding of a variety of concepts
  • Ability to stay calm and professional at all times

Salary and Benefits:
