Credit Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Specialist to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a key member of our Global Banking and Advisory team, you will play a critical role in assessing credit risk and providing expert advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess Credit Risk: Prepare high-quality credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counterparties to assess their credit quality, recommending appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare financial projections and determine debt repayment capability, ensuring compliance with SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA Credit Policies.
- Obligor Risk Ratings: Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings to ensure accurate risk assessment.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with covenants and review all relevant legal documentation.
- Collaboration: Liaise with other teams, business lines, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of credit risk management.
- Financial Analytical Skills: Possess strong financial analytical skills, including financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
- Commercial Banking Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of commercial and investment banking products, including credit agreements and financial covenants.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues across different locations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, including Excel and Word, as well as knowledge of capital markets and traded products.
- Experience: 4 years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting.
