We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Joe's Pizza Stone - St. John. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to meet the expectations of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that we have everything we need to operate efficiently.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide leadership and guidance to help them work effectively as a team.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
- Work Setting: Rural area, with relocation costs covered by employer
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
