We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at People's Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to meet the demands of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all pizzas are made to our high standards.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all pizzas are made to order and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
The Pizza Cook role requires a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. You must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
