Job Summary

The Regional Supervisor, Child and Family Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of child and family services in the Northwest Territories. This role requires a strong understanding of social work principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of Family and Community Social Workers
  • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
  • Provide after-hours supervision and support to staff as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
  • Three years of related work experience, with at least one year of direct supervisory experience
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong understanding of social work principles and practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
