The Regional Supervisor, Child and Family Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of child and family services in the Northwest Territories. This role requires a strong understanding of social work principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of Family and Community Social Workers
- Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
- Provide after-hours supervision and support to staff as needed
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
- Three years of related work experience, with at least one year of direct supervisory experience
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong understanding of social work principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Competitive salary range: $53.80 - $64.26 per hour
- Annual Northern Allowance: $14,661
