Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Associate to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in, check-out, and room assignment processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys as needed.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Communicate with staff to ensure guest needs are met and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station and respond to guest calls and requests.
  • Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Supply guests with directions and information, and provide assistance with transportation arrangements.
  • Cash guest checks, process payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges, and provide change as needed.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft or suspicious activity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a strong customer service background is preferred.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
