Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technician to join our team at Watson Clinic. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them correctly and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a sterile environment by cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies.
  • Count and verify surgical sponges and instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in room turnover and prepare the operating room for the next procedure.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Formal training as an O.R. Technician and certification as a surgical technologist required.
  • CGRN certification preferred.
  • ACLS certification within 3 months of employment.
