Job DescriptionThis role involves managing the full spectrum of collections, with 80% focus on collections and 20% on credit. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling collections for business clients, contacting past-due customers and negotiating payment arrangements.
- Communicating with customers via phone and email.
- Assisting in creating and improving the collections strategy in collaboration with internal teams.
- Documenting call activity, customer account updates, and payment commitments.
- Providing insights on delinquent loans by preparing reports for the management team.
- Collaborating with the lender community by composing updates on delinquent payments.
- Identifying and analyzing trends contributing to customer delinquency and offering solutions to reduce future defaults.
- Managing security agreements, registering liens, and handling credit monitoring with a high level of accuracy.
The successful candidate will have strong customer communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to handle difficult conversations tactfully. Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools like Salesforce is essential, along with excellent critical thinking skills and problem-solving approach to collections.
