Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a robust contact list for key customer groups, including NAPA Store Owners and Managers, NAPA Wholesale Managers, Customer Sales Representatives, and Commercial Installers.
  • Track sales and other data measurements for the territory on a regular basis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing related procedures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and field teams to drive sales transactions and training to various sales roles within the organization.
  • Build trust throughout the NAPA system and support NAPA Supplier Partners in growing their market share.
  • Stay up-to-date with product and program training for the assigned product category.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of product sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of critical selling skills, including preparing for sales calls, managing customer/sales meetings, handling customer resistance, closing sales, and account maintenance.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and establish credibility with key customers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and departments within the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and professionalism.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Overnight Support Manager will work in a typical office environment, with the ability to use a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for extended periods of time. Travel demands are rare, but the associate may need to be out of town for training and support.
