About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Wide Vision Construction Company Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish and meet client expectations.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure efficient project delivery and minimize delays.
  • Train and instruct apprentices in the skills and techniques required for the role, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on framing and carpentry.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work at heights, with a focus on safety and risk management.
