About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Ballagan Construction & Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building foundations, installing floor beams, and erecting walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be willing to travel and work at heights.
