About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at MN FRAMING LTD. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to construct and renovate residential and commercial structures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems to ensure a sturdy and secure building envelope.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware to complete the interior and exterior finishes of a building.
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals and industrial plants.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment, combining sitting, standing and walking to complete tasks.
  • Handle heavy loads and materials, requiring physical strength and endurance.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise and other hazards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in framing and carpentry.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
