About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Control Clerk to join our team at Salt & Pepper Canada Limited. As a Purchasing Control Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our business office by managing purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing Activities: Complete sales transactions, process files and paperwork, and prepare purchase orders.
  • Inventory Management: Verify stock availability, compile inventory reports, and maintain stock rotation.
  • Customer Service: Provide information on available materials, calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
  • Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Air-conditioned business office.
  • Work Setting: Business office.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, and repetitive tasks.
