About the Role

Fancy Pokket Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, processing purchases, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, verify stock availability, and reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.
  • Purchase Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders, requisition orders, and invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, verify receipts and packing slips, and resolve any delivery or other problems that may arise.
  • Inventory Control: Set up and maintain inventory control systems, monitor inventory levels, and compile inventory reports.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with ability to work under pressure.
