Key Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness in the shop and warehouse
- Prepare and issue price quotations
- Handle documentation and administrative tasks
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Calculate order costs accurately
- Organize and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records
- Generate and process purchase orders
- Address delivery issues and other supplier-related challenges
- Review requisition orders for precision
- Establish and oversee an inventory control system
- Verify stock availability through current inventories
- Compile and analyze inventory reports
- Conduct quality assurance checks
- Coordinate with Canada Customs as necessary
- Ensure proper stock rotation
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies
- Package items for distribution
- Organize stock on shelves
- Prepare reports on inventory costs, retail pricing, and profit margins
- Initiate requisition orders to replenish stock
- Reconcile physical inventories with system counts
- Document the quantity, type, and value of stock using computerized or manual systems
