About the Role
The Associate Vice President, Store & Dealer Strategic Priorities and Integration, will play a key role in driving the transformation of Canadian Tire Retail. This individual will act as a strategic resource to the leadership team, developing and executing transformation plans that integrate cross-business activities and manage transformation initiatives and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of business processes, including framework approach, alignment activities, and ecosystem for in-year management
- Drive the transformation agenda linked to aspirational growth targets, developing the approach and gaining alignment
- Coordinate functional integration strategy and operating plans within core business operations teams
- Facilitate the development of integration processes with transformation workstream leads and initiative owners
- Lead/facilitate major strategic initiatives/projects on behalf of senior leadership, working with cross-functional groups
- Synthesize information from multiple sources to generate insights and recommendations on business strategies and opportunities
- Actively report on transformation status to senior leaders to ensure input, alignment, and execution
- Develop measurements and KPIs with Finance to ensure P&L performance for Canadian Tire Retail
- Develop content for various audiences to articulate the transformation journey, including the full BU employee group, senior leadership, and the Board
- Cultivate strong relationships and work closely with cross-functional teams to promote and execute the transformation agenda
Requirements
- Years of experience in business management, strategy development, and/or consulting at a senior level
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect the dots and operationalize strategic direction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to see a problem from multiple angles
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in an executive format
- Experience interacting with all levels within the organization, including senior executives, in addressing strategic and business planning challenges
- A self-starter with the ability to work in an ambiguous and changing environment
- Demonstrated leadership and influence management
- University degree in business/marketing or related discipline
