About the Role

The Associate Vice President, Store & Dealer Strategic Priorities and Integration, will play a key role in driving the transformation of Canadian Tire Retail. This individual will act as a strategic resource to the leadership team, developing and executing transformation plans that integrate cross-business activities and manage transformation initiatives and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of business processes, including framework approach, alignment activities, and ecosystem for in-year management
  • Drive the transformation agenda linked to aspirational growth targets, developing the approach and gaining alignment
  • Coordinate functional integration strategy and operating plans within core business operations teams
  • Facilitate the development of integration processes with transformation workstream leads and initiative owners
  • Lead/facilitate major strategic initiatives/projects on behalf of senior leadership, working with cross-functional groups
  • Synthesize information from multiple sources to generate insights and recommendations on business strategies and opportunities
  • Actively report on transformation status to senior leaders to ensure input, alignment, and execution
  • Develop measurements and KPIs with Finance to ensure P&L performance for Canadian Tire Retail
  • Develop content for various audiences to articulate the transformation journey, including the full BU employee group, senior leadership, and the Board
  • Cultivate strong relationships and work closely with cross-functional teams to promote and execute the transformation agenda

Requirements

  • Years of experience in business management, strategy development, and/or consulting at a senior level
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect the dots and operationalize strategic direction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to see a problem from multiple angles
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in an executive format
  • Experience interacting with all levels within the organization, including senior executives, in addressing strategic and business planning challenges
  • A self-starter with the ability to work in an ambiguous and changing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence management
  • University degree in business/marketing or related discipline
