About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Associate to join our team at Meridian Credit Union. As a key member of our branch sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member experiences and delivering financial solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the financial needs of our members and provide tailored advice and recommendations
  • Offer large or complex credit and investment advice to meet member needs
  • Meet and exceed individual and team-based business goals
  • Manage member portfolios to build strong relationships and provide exceptional service
  • Engage in revenue generation and sales-based activities to achieve performance objectives
  • Use technology platforms to host meetings and communicate with members
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality to respect member privacy
What You'll Bring
  • Post-secondary education with at least 3 years of equivalent work experience in a financial services environment
  • Strong business and financial industry knowledge with a desire for career growth
  • Minimum MFDA licensing required for most roles
  • Flexibility to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and Saturdays
  • Proven understanding of computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Effective organizational time management and problem-solving skills
