About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Associate to join our team at Meridian Credit Union. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service and support to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to members, identifying and promoting solutions that meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, understanding their financial goals and objectives
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve member service and support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial services environment
  • Strong business and financial industry knowledge, with a desire for career growth within the financial services industry
  • At minimum, MFDA licensing is required for most roles
  • Flexible to work all scheduled hours, including some evenings and Saturdays
  • Proven understanding of computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
