About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Editorial Content Specialist to join our team at Explorer Group Canada Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Assess Content: Review and evaluate the suitability of material for publication, ensuring it meets our high standards.
  • Correct and Refine: Detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Content Development: Shorten or lengthen copy as needed, and plan coverage of upcoming events to assign work accordingly.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Confer with authors, staff writers, and others regarding revisions to copy, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Project Management: Plan and coordinate activities of staff, ensuring production deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time.
  • Content Creation: Write or prepare introductions, marketing and promotional materials, bibliographic references, indexes, and other text as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Publisher, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
