Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at PHSA. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and book client appointments, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Register and admit clients, maintaining accurate records and communicating with clinicians as needed.
  • Perform referral functions, including data entry, sending out questionnaires, and processing related paperwork.
  • Maintain records, including log sheets and client statistics, and collaborate with team members as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support, including typing and distributing technical and non-technical materials.

Requirements

  • Grade 12, plus two (2) years' recent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to keyboard 40 wpm and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Awareness of and commitment to creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.
