Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with clients and their caregivers to create environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing. You will be responsible for assessing and treating communication and swallowing problems resulting from stroke, head injuries, dementia, degenerative disorders, respiratory issues, and other medical complications. You will work in an inpatient or outpatient setting and be expected to be competent in dysphagia management, including clinical bedside swallowing assessments and modified barium swallow studies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess and treat communication and swallowing problems in clients with various medical conditions
* Work with clients and their caregivers to create environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing
* Conduct clinical bedside swallowing assessments and modified barium swallow studies
* Collaborate with medical and allied health colleagues to provide comprehensive care

Compensation:

The new rate for this position is $42.27 to $52.81, effective April 1, 2024.
