Job Summary

Hess Associates is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and training to customers in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Training: Install and train customers on our laboratory instruments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Customer Education and Support: Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical support to customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all equipment installations and training meet regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Lead Generation and Sales Support: Identify new customer requirements and lead generation opportunities for our sales team, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Travel and Representation: Represent Hess Associates at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, showcasing our products and expertise.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications: MLT (CSMLS, CMLTA, SSMLT, CMLTM) preferred.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of related experience in clinical laboratory and point-of-care testing, with a strong understanding of associated instrumentation.
  • Skills: Proven technical proficiency, project planning, management, and organizational skills, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
