Position Title: Clinical Applications Consultant - Acute Care Diagnostics

Location: Remote (Western Canada)

Position Overview:

The Clinical Applications Consultant is pivotal in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction within the installed base of our clinical products. This role encompasses the installation, validation, and training of diagnostic instruments, along with providing ongoing clinical support and customer education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute instrument installations, validations, and training as directed by the Clinical Applications Manager.
  • Facilitate the go-live process of instruments in collaboration with internal teams and customers.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and ensure the integrity of the installed base within the assigned territory.
  • Deliver clinical and technical support, educating customers on the effective use of products.
  • Achieve and uphold a high level of technical knowledge regarding the company's offerings.
  • Stay informed about competitive systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage knowledge related to Data Management Systems, supporting pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance revenue within existing accounts.
  • Assist Sales Consultants with lead generation through effective support activities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and participate in relevant seminars and workshops.
  • Maintain an account list and manage customer databases effectively.
  • Control the expense budget and prepare necessary reports for management.
  • Adhere to all regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Applications Manager.

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology, respiratory therapy, nursing, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience in project management is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
