Job Overview

Calian Group Ltd. is proud to continue its long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces.

Position Details

We are seeking qualified Medical Care Specialists to provide primary health care and first aid at Cadet Training Centres (CTC). As a key member of our team, you will treat Regular and Reserve Force members, Cadet Instructor Cadre, and Cadets.

  • Patient assessments and screenings
  • Diagnostics
  • Treatment
  • Health counseling
  • Referrals
Work Schedule

Shifts are typically 4 – 8 hours and can include weekdays and weekends. Consideration will also be given to those interested in providing coverage in the evenings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in your province of work, hold a CPR certificate, N95 Mask fit certification, and WHMIS certification.

You will also be required to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level and a current Vulnerable Sector Check.
