Job Summary

Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are met in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient food preparation and service methods to meet work schedules.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and staff performance, providing insights for business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of customer demand.
