About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Operations Director to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the health and reliability of our cloud infrastructure and production systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of reliability engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure
  • Design, build, operate, and own overall technical relationships between multiple organizational stakeholders
  • Provide insight and support into the operations and implementation of new initiatives to drive efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, business partners, and technical and operational teams to ensure clear lines of communication
  • Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for cloud solutions, migrations, and cloud-native deployments
  • Define technical milestones and develop CAPEX/OPEX cost models with an emphasis on cloud maturity modeling
Requirements
  • 12 or more years of experience as an architect or lead engineer, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and/or managing an operations team
  • Deep expertise and a track record of managing cloud infrastructure solutions on the Azure, AWS, or IBM platforms
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing (network infrastructure, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud delivery models)
  • Ability to design and implement strategic roadmaps for cloud solutions, migrations, and cloud-native deployments
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience in mentoring and developing teams
