Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating training plans in various work settings to meet clients' needs. This includes identifying clients' interests, skills, and abilities, as well as locating employers in local businesses and industries that match their strengths.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct interviews and consult with caregivers to understand clients' interests, skills, and abilities.
  • Develop training plans with clients, focusing on pre-employment skill development, daily living skills, social skills, and job readiness.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, and modify training plans as needed.
  • Train and support clients in various work settings, emphasizing work skills, proper hygiene, product quality, quantity, and service expectations.
  • Liaise with community service providers to promote the program and encourage client participation in community activities.
  • Transport clients to training programs, work sites, volunteer placements, and off-site assessments as required.
  • Facilitate training in the community and develop work-ready programs for multiple participants.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated high-quality support skills and the ability to coach and mentor individuals.
  • Excellent planning skills and the ability to function independently under pressure.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Presents a professional image at work and in the community.
Salary and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in your community.
