Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Wilbrink's LAWNscaping Inc. as a key member of our outdoor maintenance team.

Job Summary:

The Grounds Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance activities, ensuring the highest quality of work and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including lawn care, pruning, and landscaping.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Supervise a team of 1-2 grounds maintenance staff, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
