Job Summary:

The Grounds Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance activities, maintaining work records and logs, and repairing and maintaining equipment. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities to ensure high-quality results and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise 1-2 team members to ensure they have the necessary training and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
