Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Claims Specialist to join our team in London, ON. As a key member of our claims management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient resolution of property claims.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong background in commercial and personal lines property claims, with some auto experience being an asset. You will be responsible for handling claims from initial reporting to closure, working closely with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient claim resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle claims from initial reporting to closure, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gather necessary information, and assess damages.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient claim resolution.
  • Analyze complex documents, perform advanced numerical calculations, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements
  • University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance (nice to have).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial and personal lines property claims.
  • Adjuster's license or completion of CIP courses (C11, C12, C13, C14, and C110).
  • Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics.
  • Good investigative manner, ability to draw valid conclusions, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex documents, perform advanced numerical calculations, and understand comparative information.
