Location: Various locations across Alberta

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging machines to produce detailed images of the body. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety, and operating MRI equipment and managing imaging protocols. You will also assess images for quality and report any issues to the radiologist, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, you will educate patients about the MRI process and answer their questions.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Certification in MRI technology from ARRT or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of MRI physics and safety practices.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
