Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technician - X-Ray Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment, performing diagnostic procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Perform diagnostic procedures using radioactive materials on biological specimens
  • Record and process results of procedures
  • Apply radiation protection measures
  • Explain procedures and side effects of radiation to patients
  • Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment
  • Record and process patient data
  • Provide appropriate care and monitoring of patients during examinations

Requirements

  • Degree in a related field (e.g., Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine)
  • 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
