Hydraulic Project Engineer

As a key member of our hydraulic engineering team, you will play a central technical role in the design and execution of hydroelectric projects. With a strong background in mechanical engineering and hydro engineering, you will work closely with our design engineers and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure hydraulic engineering aspects are met.
  • Participate in model testing in our European laboratories.
  • Conduct cavitation inspections and performance tests at power plant sites across Canada.
  • Monitor budgets and schedules for hydraulic turbine passage development.
  • Perform transient analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of hydraulic engineering processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in hydro engineering.
  • Fluency in French and English, spoken and written.
