Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT, Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team at Vacances Air Canada / Air Canada Vacations. As a key member of our Information Technology team, you will be responsible for administering cloud infrastructure, managing Windows servers, and ensuring the reliability and security of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer cloud infrastructure in AWS and MS Azure, ensuring alignment with best practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and support Azure/AWS infrastructure, with in-depth knowledge of foundational services.
  • Administer Windows 2016+ servers in a 24x7 environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Administer VMware 7+ environments, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.
  • Configure and maintain Security devices, including firewalls, IPS, DDoS, Proxy, LTM, and DLP functionalities.
  • Install system patches and updates, and perform hardware and software upgrades.
  • Document and improve current IT infrastructure, processes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • College diploma (or higher) in Computer Sciences.
  • 5+ years experience with Windows Server advanced administration.
  • 5+ years experience with Cloud administration with MS Azure (advanced).
  • MS Azure certifications (Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate) an asset.
  • Cloud administration with AWS an asset.
  • Ability to write Windows scripts (Powershell+).
  • Working experience managing Cisco and/or Fortinet networking equipment – firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
  • Working experience with f5 LTM, aWAF, and BIG IP DNS an asset.
  • Working experience with IdP solutions (Azure AD, FortiAuthenticator).
  • Working experience with MS Clustering services (WCFS).
  • Working experience with SCCM, InTune, Windows Autopilot, Remote management of devices, Windows Deployment Services.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator an asset.
  • MCSE an asset.
  • MSSQL an asset (Always On, clustering).
  • Experience with one or more diagramming tools (e.g., Visio).
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills, with extreme commitment to quality and results.
  • Autonomous, dedicated, able to provide on-call 24x7 coverage when required.
  • Extremely organized and diligent in maintaining consistency.
  • Continually strives to improve IT customer service delivery.
  • Eager to learn business priorities and criticality of day-to-day operations.
  • Experience in the travel and tour operator industry an asset.
