About the Role

At Intact, we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Administrator to join our IT team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the integration and operation of our Public Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Landing Zone.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues in running Cloud Native (GCP) solutions.
  • Embrace Infrastructure as Code principles and foster collaboration between teams.
  • Take charge of change requests, service requests, problem-solving, and incidents.
  • Participate in technical implementation of large and complex GCP transformations and modernization projects.
  • Maintain team standards to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Develop, implement, support, and document automation to increase platform management efficiency.
  • Be available for on-call support and changes outside of normal office hours.
  • Implement best cloud computing practices.
  • Assist in accelerating cloud adoption across all cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with GCP or Cloud solutions, GCP APIGEE, Big Query, Big Data.
  • GCP certification(s) is a must.
  • Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS components of GCP.
  • Experience in Automation such as Ansible, Terraform.
  • Experience with Agile software development and release engineering.
  • Experience in infrastructure automation with CI/CD framework.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) – Ability to interact with English-speaking clients and colleagues.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
