We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at Fed IT, a leading recruitment firm specializing in IT recruitment. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for administering and managing the VMware vSphere and vSan infrastructure, ensuring the performance and reliability of the virtual environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and CA services to ensure their proper functioning and security.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, Entra, SharePoint, and other related services.
  • Collaborate with the network team to optimize and secure the infrastructure, providing support on Cisco Meraki and Cisco Firepower technologies.
  • Implement and manage backup solutions such as Veeam, Cohesity, or Commvault to ensure data protection.
  • Participate in the administration of cloud environments, including Azure and Amazon Web Services, to support the company's digital transformation strategy.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in computer science or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in VMware, Microsoft, networking, or cloud computing.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of networking, with experience of Cisco Meraki and Cisco Firepower highly desirable.
  • Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam, Cohesity, or Commvault (an asset).
  • Experience with the administration of cloud platforms such as Azure and Amazon Web Services (an asset).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a constant focus on service quality.
