Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Litigation group. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and completion of commercial litigation documentation, handle administrative tasks, and communicate with internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and completion of various commercial litigation documentation, including disputes related to construction and real property disputes.
- Prepare and complete all necessary correspondence and documentation.
- Handle administrative details, including accounting, opening and closing files, docketing, and billing.
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients.
- Produce high-quality work and be accountable for all assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years' litigation legal experience.
- Successful completion of a post-secondary level legal assistant or law clerk course.
- Previous experience with Caselines, Kofax, and Adobe.
- Proficiency with linking cases & evidence into motion & application records.
