Retail Store Manager

At JG's Liquor Store, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the store.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train staff to meet sales and customer service goals
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Authorize payments, order merchandise, and manage inventory
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise office and volunteer staff
- 1-2 years of retail management experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to distinguish between colors and stand for extended periods
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Initiative and ability to multitask
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team of sales workers and office staff. The store is located in a remote location with public transportation not available.
