About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at JAINAM ENTERPRISES INC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and ensure that all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, cleaning the counter area, and ensuring that all products are displayed attractively.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products and answering questions.
  • Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products, and ensure that all sales are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Train and Develop Skills: Will train and develop skills to meet the needs of the business and provide opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: Will train, with a focus on developing skills and knowledge to meet the needs of the business
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
