IT Release Manager - Calgary
Overview:
CB Canada is seeking a skilled IT Release Manager to join our team in Calgary, AB. As an IT Release Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating integrated BMA releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have experience with project management of IT projects and integrated applications, program or technical portfolio management of integrated IT projects & applications, software development life cycle & software test life cycle delivery & support experience, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices & associated tools (ServiceNow, Jira or similar).
Role Details:
The IT Release Manager will be accountable for managing and coordinating of integrated BMA releases, planning and scheduling of integrated BMA changes in pre-production & production environments, applying, advocating & up-keeping BMA Release Management best practice, with associated governance & processes embedded within, monitoring & driving readiness of BMA teams for release deliverables, from planning to product, measuring and identifying opportunities and deficiencies in processes to support driving improvements of the Release practices, responsible in continuous improvements for release deployment practices and process, tracking release health during the release cycle with BMA Release & QA team for each release (defects carried forward, smoke testing in staging environments, etc.), responsible for communications of all release activities, assessing and reviewing all impacts, risks, dependencies and critical path of releases in collaboration with BMA teams.
Benefits:
This 12-month contract offers a competitive salary of $95,000 per year. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment and have the opportunity to work on various IT projects.
