Nurse Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident-focused care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care in accordance with established vision and values.
- Practice in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of resident-centered care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Post-basic education in gerontology an asset.
- Ability to operate related equipment, including relevant computer applications.
- Physical, psychological, and emotional ability to perform the duties of the position.
