Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in the Acute Care department, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to Northern Health's standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Current Level C CPR certification required.
- Two years recent medical/surgical experience or equivalent in emergency, ambulatory care, or ICU settings.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $94,051 - $123,797 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer opportunities for professional growth and development, including employer-paid training and leadership development programs.
