Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a key member of our oncology care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Educate patients and families on cancer treatment options and side effects
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
• CNA Oncology Certification or eligibility
• Clinical experience in an oncology or acute care setting
• British Columbia Cancer Agency Chemotherapy Certification or equivalent certification
