Your Role in Our OrganizationThe selected candidate will be tasked with developing methodologies to meet project timelines and will coordinate efforts with clients and technical personnel. Furthermore, the individual will implement all necessary planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.

- Oversee exploration databases for effective monitoring and modeling
- Conduct geological and structural analyses of mining initiatives utilizing advanced 3D software
- Stay updated on advancements in mineral resource estimation techniques and reporting standards
- Serve as a Qualified Person for sections of reports and technical documentation (NI 43-101, preliminary, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies)
- Assist in resource modeling and updates at client exploration sites or mining operations, providing solutions to encountered challenges
- Lead quality assessments of all geological components for advanced exploration or development projects (drilling, sampling, analysis, QA/QC, and mineral resource estimation) and ensure that key recommendations are executed
Training Component (15% of time)
Organize and manage internal meetings with team members and external discussions with stakeholders or subcontractors;
Ensure effective information flow within the team and that members deliver necessary information within established timelines
Business Development Component (5 to 10% of time)
Foster constructive business relationships during project execution to encourage repeat business;
Advocate for the sale of cross-services to existing clients;
Promote BBA's geological services, both internally among colleagues and externally with clients and prospective clients.
Corporate Component (5 to 10% of time)
Contribute to the formulation and execution of the Geological Group's strategies, in collaboration with senior management, to enhance the growth of the Geological Group;
Engage in innovation, new service development, and communication initiatives for the Geological Group.
Act as a mentor to emerging professionals within the group.
Overview of Qualifications and Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
Membership in a professional association for geologists or engineers
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including 8 years in resource estimation
Extensive hands-on experience in mineral resource estimation across various deposits, having served as a Qualified Person (QP) on multiple occasions (please provide a reference list of technical reports prepared as a QP)
Proficiency in managing databases, QA/QC protocols, geostatistical analyses, and both 2D and 3D modeling
Experience in budget establishment, estimation, and scheduling
A passion for mentoring, training, and sharing knowledge with team members
Proficient in using specialized geological and mining modeling software applications, such as Gems, Leapfrog, Surpac, Vulcan, Minesight, Datamine, etc.
Strong aptitude for learning new software
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English and French)
